Image Resizing

If you have a site which allows people to upload images from digital cameras to form the content for your site, what do you about image sizes and file compression? The file size is often 300K-900K for a camera image, but you don't want to use that on your website. Similarly, if you've got a lot of images for (say) an OSCommerce Shop, resizing them all in a pain package could take a long time.

For PeeledEyePrintbox, we made a system which allowed one image to be uploaded and automatically resized to three different dimensions - small, medium and large. It also adds some tuned file compression so that the file sizes are reasonable.
